- March, 1953
- Established as a Copper Alloy Foundry in Minami-ku, Kyoto-city.
- March, 1959
- Incorporated as Mitani Goukin Co., Ltd. establishment at Sakyo-ku, Kyoto-city. Started to manufacture Brash holder.
- 1978
- Transferred to Uji-city.
Integrated production of the magnetic field core for DC motors was started.
- 1981
- Production of the edgewise field coil for train motor was started.
- 1983
- Integrated production of the salient pole magnetic field core of synchronous generators and electric motors was started.
- 1985
- Integrated production of all the salient pole field coils for medium size synchronous generators was started.
- 1990
- Integrated production of all the salient pole magnetic field poles for large-sized hydroelectric power generators became possible.
- 2004
- Production of exciter and PMG was started. Travelling crane 4.8t was installed.
- 2005
- Vertical machining center MILLAC611 type was installed.
- 2007
- 500t press (core board, with extraction feeder) was installed
- 2011
- Band sawing machine was installed (labor saving of end plate processing).
A trading company section of Mitani Goukin Co., Ltd became independent and it was established as Mitani Power System Co., Ltd.

- Horizontal machining center A NH5000DCG type was installed.

- A medium size edgewise automatic winding machine was installed.

- Damper bar automatic fixing equipment was installed.
- 2016
- KES Environmental Management System Standard Step 2 was Certified.

- Quality and Environmental Management System ISO9001:2015 was Certified.
