Edgewise coil
Edgewise coil is a coil that is bent in the width direction in the inner side of the thickness of the flat wire. It cannot bend easily. Our company has extensive experience in manufacturing the best quality of this kind of coils.
Coils are manufactured using coated-wire (rectangular wire, round wire), which is directly wound on the core and indirectly on the former.
There are a number of production track records of coil winding on the core directly and winding on the wooden-former indirectly.
Brazed type coil (fabricated by brazing the four corners)
We focus on the renewal works of insulation and also manufacture the brazed type coil.
However, we recommend you to change the edgewise coil designing from brazed type coil, and using it from the viewpoint of economic efficiency and reliability.
Core production
We mainly produce the field core for salient pole.
We mainly produce the field core for salient poles. A field core is made by stacking/laminating (core plate) from thin steel plates, which enables the easy production of wrap. Therefore, manufacturing works require high technical capability. The overall length of the field core up to 2500 mm can be manufactured at Mitani.
Consistent in-house production from the press punching of core plate to brazing of core lamination and damper winding is possible.
